Under the OH&S Act, racking systems must be inspected and maintained by you – the employer.
Offered by the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) and IAPA, this course will help you avoid costly accidents, prosecutions and fines, and demonstrate due diligence. You’ll be introduced to the inspection and maintenance sections of the new CSA User Guide for Steel Storage Racks and you’ll conduct a rack inspection through a comprehensive simulated exercise.
You’ll also gain experience with recognizing general rack hazards and risk damage; gauging the severity of damage; identifying key areas to check when inspecting racks; and understanding rack modifications and the need for pre-start reviews (PSRs).
BONUS: You’ll receive a copy of the new CSA User Guide and Standard (A344.1 and A344.2) – a $95.00 value, plus a copy of the CSST and ASTE guide – Safety of Pallet Racks (retail value $143.00)!
