Partners in Prevention is a particularly appropriate theme, given the transformation of Ontario’s Prevention System this year, under the just-announced banner of Health & Safety Ontario. The planning teams that hosted the popular IAPA conferences and trade shows for many years, have now expanded to include partners from all four of the province’s newly amalgamated health and safety associations.

Health & Safety Ontario
In response to economic challenges and the need to improve health and safety outcomes, the Ontario Prevention System has been restructured and is now made up of the Ministry of Labour (MOL), Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), Workers Health & Safety Centre, Occupational Health Clinics for Ontario Works Inc. and 12 Health and Safety Associations (HSAs).
Health & Safety Ontario is the result of a bold effort to reorganize the independent efforts of 12 HSAs into 4 streamlined organizations in order to better serve our members and customers. Health & Safety Ontario is comprised of the following organizations:
